and a big idea.

Mr. Chen started woking in 1989 — one flame, one wok, and a conviction that soy sauce and sofrito belong on the same plate. Three decades later we're still slinging criollo-Chinese comfort: fast from the fire, loud with flavor, always with a smile under the mustache.

Everything is fired to order. The plantains are sweet, the glaze is sticky, and the fortune cookies are never wrong.
